Dr. William Staggers
A native of Eutaw, Alabama, Dr. Staggers graduated from Mississippi State University with his Bachelor of Science in Forestry/Wildlife Biology. He received his medical education at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon graduation, Dr. Staggers completed six years of general surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center.
Dr. Staggers completed his plastic surgery training under the instruction of the internationally renowned team of Dr. Luis Vasconez and Dr. James Grotting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. Dr. Staggers served as chief resident for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Alabama in Birmingham Medical Center from July 1996 to June 1997. He entered private practice and opened Eastern Shore Plastic Surgery in Fairhope, Alabama in July 1997. Since then, he has worked to enhance and develop services offered.
Dr. Staggers is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Southeastern Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Baldwin County Medical Society.
Dr. Staggers performs procedures at several locations: Thomas Hospital, Thomas Medical Center, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and our AAAASF certified surgical suite at Eastern Shore Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Staggers has enjoyed the benefits of living and working in a small town since he moved to Fairhope in 1997. Dr. Staggers spends his free time with his wife, Lynette, and their four sons, participating in the outdoor activities they love.
