Upper Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

Arm Lift Mobile Alabama – Arm Lift Procedure

Are you a candidate for an arm lift? Mobile Alabama plastic surgeon explains that you may be a candidate for a brachioplasty if you have redundant, loose skin and subcutaneous tissue of the upper arm.

This procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under sedation or general anesthesia. Resection of the skin and fat is performed under the upper arm leaving a thin layer of fat to protect the blood vessels and nerves.

Limited activity for approximately 2 weeks, resume normal activity in 4 weeks. Oral analgesics control any mild discomfort and elastic bandages may be worn for the first week to support the incision areas.

When healing from your arm lift, Mobile Alabama plastic surgeons will give you detailed post-op instructions. Follow your surgeon’s guidelines for optimal recovery.
