What Age Is Right for a Facelift?

What is the best age to get a face lift? There’s no age limit, but the general rule is that the younger you are, the more elasticity your skin will have, and the longer the face lift will last.  Younger patients may also be better candidates for “mini” face lift.

Alabama cosmetic surgeon Dr. James Koehler looks at each patient individually to asses how to create the best, most natural looking results. There is no one-size-fits-all face lift, each procedure varies depending on the patients unique features, needs and desires.

Wrinkles, creases, crows feet, fine lines and sagging skin are all symptoms of aging which can be reduced and or eliminated through with a face lift. Face lift surgery may also be done in combination with other cosmetic surgery procedures such as eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, or a neck lift.
