Gone are the days of letting embarrassing underarm sweat keep you from wearing certain clothes or enjoying your favorite activities. MiraDry® is a nonsurgical solution that eliminates overactive sweat glands in your underarm area, letting you get on with your life without worrying about sweat stains or odor.
To help you decide if this treatment could be right for you, take a look at the answers to three of the most common questions about miraDry.
How Much Does miraDry Cost?
The cost of miraDry at our Alabama practice is $1,950. The vast majority of people who get miraDry only require a single treatment. However, if you happen to need an additional session or two, we charge a discounted rate of $950 per additional treatment.
MiraDry costs vary based on location. The national average is around $2,300 per treatment.
Is There Pain or Downtime?
Most people get back to work immediately after miraDry, resuming exercise routines in a few days.
Most people report very little to no pain during their miraDry treatment. A topical numbing cream can be used to help make you as comfortable as possible. Most treatment sessions take around one hour, and you should be able to get right back to your normal daily activities afterward.
You might experience some swelling, tenderness or numbness in the treated area for the first few days after your appointment.
When Will I See Results?
Results from miraDry develop immediately after the treatment. Once any swelling, bruising or numbness diminish, you should be able to fully enjoy your new sweat-free life!
