Carlie, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse
Carlie is the newest addition to our clinical team. Carlie earned her degrees from Coastal Community College and the University of South Alabama. Prior to joining Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery, Carlie worked in emergency medicine. After meeting Carlie, you will never forget her infectious smile and bubbly personality. When Carlie is not serving our patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 fur babies – Millie and Zeppelin.
Cheryl, LPN
Certified Medical Laser Safety Officer
Cheryl is an experienced laser technician and nurse. She has been doing laser treatments for hair removal, photo rejuvenation, spider vein laser treatments and other laser treatments for many years. Cheryl has extensive experience with lasers and can treat many conditions under the supervision of Dr. Koehler and is the sole Alabama member of the International Laser Certification Registry. She is highly skilled and can answer all your questions and concerns regarding laser treatments as well as facials, superficial chemical peels, and general skin care.
Denvia
Surgical Coordinator
Denvia will make the process of scheduling surgery a pleasurable one. She is a caring and compassionate person who will coordinate all aspects of your surgery. She is very knowledgeable and can answer many of your questions and relieve your concerns regarding the process of surgery. She is experienced and can assist you in obtaining financing if needed. Denvia is dedicated to making sure that people are well informed prior to surgery in order to make their recovery as easy as possible.
Layne
Surgical Technologist
Layne is a certified surgical technologist with more than a decade of operating room experience. An Ohio-native, Layne made her way to Fairhope in 2014 and joined our team in 2016. She assists Dr. Koehler in surgery and cares for the patients outside the operating room as well. Layne is happily married to her husband Brandon; together they have 2 children, Locklin and Kate London. Layne loves to connect with our patients and make them feel like part of our Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery family.
Mary Emma, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Mary Emma is a board certified nurse practitioner who joined our team in 2021. A native of Fairhope, Mary Emma graduated with honors from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mary Emma then earned her MSN from the University of South Alabama as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Mary Emma is dedicated to ensuring each patient has an excellent experience through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, and beyond. Mary Emma is married to her husband, Clay Pitman. They are active members of St. Lawrence Catholic Parish in Fairhope. In their free time, they enjoy spending time at the beach or on the bay with friends and family.
Sarah, RN, MSN, CNOR
Clinical Manager
Sarah is originally from Florence, Alabama where she has over 10 years of critical care and recovery experience. Sarah joined our team in 2016. Sarah received her master’s in nursing education from the University of North Alabama and is passionate about patient education and safety. Sarah is married to her husband Josh and has 3 children, Mia, Easton and Beckett. Sarah strives to ensure your experience at Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery is excellent from start to finish.
Jesyka
Patient Care Coordinator
Jesyka joined our practice in 2022. Originally from a small town in Iowa, she comes to us with nearly 10 years of medical office and scheduling experience. When not working Jesyka enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott and their two young children. Jesyka is passionate about patient care and will work to ensure your entire consultation is the best that it can be.
Kirstin
Practice Manager
Kirstin joined our practice in October of 2022. She is responsible for a broad range of day-to-day services and resources that allow the office to run efficiently. A veteran in the field of women’s health, she has a strong passion for helping people feel and look their best. She is dedicated to making sure every experience our patients have at ESCS is a positive one. Kirstin was born and raised in a small farm town in Ohio and now lives in Fairhope with her husband and three children, where they spend most of their time at the ball fields or snorkeling, diving, and fishing in the Gulf.
Brittany
Licensed Aesthetician & Certified Laser Technician
Mobile native Brittany is a licensed Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician with over 12 years of experience. Joining our team in 2017, Brittany provides services such as Hydra Facials, micro-needling, radiofrequency micro-needling, chemical exfoliation, as well as body contouring treatments like Cool Sculpting. She enjoys counseling clients on products and procedures. Struggling with problematic skin for years herself, she is confident in giving advice based on her own experience with skin care.
Caitlin
Surgical Technologist
Caitlin graduated from Coastal Community College in 2013 with her degree in surgical technology. Since that time, Caitlin worked locally at Thomas Hospital with the Open Heart Surgery team and has traveled as a surgical technologist the past 5 1/2 years, working in locations such as Montana, Oregon, Missouri, North Carolina and New Orleans, before coming back home to become a permanent part of our Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery team. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys hiking and spending time with her children, which are her 2 puppies, Torque & Tease.
Dr. Koehler
Educated at the University of Alabama and in practice for over 20 years, Dr. Koehler is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon who is devoted to providing exceptional results.
Dr. Gardner
A triple-board-certified surgeon specializing in both cosmetic and venous procedures, Dr. Gardner brings a depth of expertise, compassion, and innovation to our practice.
