About NeoGraft Hair Restoration
The NeoGraft system is the only follicular unit harvesting and implantation system with FDA clearance. It automates the process of extracting follicular units from the back of the head for reimplantation where hair loss is occurring. A follicular unit is a natural grouping of around 1 to 4 hairs, and by harvesting these hairs together, there is a better chance that the hair will survive the implantation process.
Dr. Gardner is experienced in using the NeoGraft system’s pneumatic controls to precisely extract complete individual hair follicles, which are then immediately transplanted to the selected areas of the scalp. The system performs this process in a “no touch” way that automates the process while protecting the individual hair follicles.

Is NeoGraft expensive?

How painful is NeoGraft treatment?

Will people be able to tell I had hair transplant surgery?
Immediately after the procedure, both the donor and recipient areas will be red and have a dotted appearance. This should improve steadily over the first week and within a few weeks, you should look completely normal. Unlike older methods, there is no lasting scarring, staples or stitches.
Will my results be permanent?
The transplanted hair follicles that “take,” meaning that they survive the implantation process and grow new hair, will continue to produce hair for a long time after your procedure. However, some natural thinning of the hair should be expected over time. We can provide guidance on how to get the most from your treatment and maintain your results for a long period of time.

Your New Look
Growing new hair takes time. Within about a week of your procedure, you will start to notice the hair in the donor area beginning to regrow, and most of our patients are comfortable to go to work or to public activities after this point. Hair growth in the recipient area usually begins to be noticeable around the fourth month after your treatment, and it is generally in the 6 to 9 month timeframe after treatment when our patients are excited to see significant results. We will schedule follow up visits to evaluate the effectiveness of your hair restoration treatment and make sure you are getting the results you want.
To maximize the effectiveness of your hair transplantation, we will provide a set of instructions to follow after treatment, including minimizing sun exposure in the recently treated areas and taking certain supplements.
