EVO light laser series provides a customizable approach to treating a variety of skin concerns to ensure your specific needs are addressed. EVO Light laser uses adjustable wavelength options and intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy to address the areas of unwanted hyperpigmentation, benign pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, acne scars, and fine lines and wrinkles can be greatly improved.

About EVO Light
At Eastern Shore Cosmetic Surgery, we use the EVO Light laser to treat the effects of sun damaged, hyperpigmented or mildly lax and texturally uneven skin. Even after one treatment you should see improvement, but it typically takes a series of treatments to achieve the best results. The number of treatments depends on the extent of skin damage, preferred level of correction and your skin type.
We are excited to offer Pro-Nox pain relief that can be added to any of the in-office procedures we perform. Pro-Nox is an inhaled analgesic that gives our patients 100% control through self-administration. Get short-term pain, anxiety, and stress relief without having to “go under.”

What to Expect
Before your treatment, your skin type will be determined, and the EVO light wavelength will be adjusted to maximize absorption and results. The treatments can take a few minutes to up to an hour depending on the size of the area being treated. Most patients find the treatment discomfort level to be tolerable and require no anesthesia.
Recovery times depend on the extent of the treatment. After the treatment, you can expect some redness of the skin, which usually subsides after a few hours. You can resume your regular activities immediately after your treatment.
Risks and Complications
Individuals who have EVO light laser skin rejuvenation treatments rarely experience unwanted permanent pigment changes in the skin. It is best to have EVO light laser treatments done when the areas are not tanned, since the laser’s energy is absorbed by areas of pigmentation.
Your New Look
Depending on your desired treatment results, you may experience some flaking and darkening of the skin if you are treating lesions, as well as some redness or purple discoloration that may persist for several days to weeks. However, these effects are easily covered with tinted moisturizer.
You should see results after just one treatment. Upon completion of the treatment series, you should see a more evenly pigmented skin tone. EVO light laser can also offer some skin tightening effects. Depending on your aesthetic goals, we may recommend 2 to 6 EVO light treatments to maximize your results.
