The program involves much more than just the prescription of GLP-1 injections such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound). In addition, we are uniquely equipped to help you address post-weight loss cosmetic concerns through cosmetic surgery and medical spa treatments.
Our Weight Loss Program in Detail
Our highly trained providers can work closely with you in our doctor-designed weight loss program with ongoing medical supervision. Beyond weight loss itself, our program is developed to help you keep the weight off and feel your absolute best.
- Initial Consultation: During this time at our office, we’ll review your health history and develop a customized wellness plan that we can work on together in the coming months. We may request lab work to ensure you are a candidate for the program.
- Weight Loss Medications: This will include treatment with medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide. Our program involves much more than simply writing a prescription. We are invested in proper monitoring, tracking and encouragement to help you be successful.
- Supplementation Recommendations: Ensure you get the nutrients you need while you are losing weight so that your health is maximized.
- Diet and Exercise Evaluation: We’ll review your current fitness level, discuss your fitness goals, and work with you on a plan to add in exercise and learn healthier eating habits.

A Closer Look at Weight Loss Medications
Injection-based medications to achieve weight loss are extremely popular, and for many good reasons. Currently, there are 2 main types of these medications we use as a part of our medically supervised weight loss program.
Semaglutide: One of the most common weight loss medications is semaglutide. You may have heard this referred to as Ozempic or Wegovy. The active ingredient in this medication is glucagon-like peptide-1, or GLP-1. GLP-1 promotes production of insulin in the pancreas, suppresses the production of glucagon, slows gastric emptying to help you feel full, and suppresses appetite. Common brand names you may know for semaglutide are Wegovy and Ozempic.
Tirzepatide: You may or may not have heard of this weight loss medication before, though you may be more familiar with its common brand names, Mounjaro and Zepbound. An injection-based medication very similar to semaglutide, tirzepatide has been shown in studies to help certain patients lose more weight than semaglutide. Tirzepatide is similar to semaglutide as it contains GLP-1 but it also contains gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP). The combination allows for a greater production of insulin secretion and thus, weight loss.
