The day before your mommy makeover should be an exciting, yet calm day. Most of your prep work should be accomplished at this point, leaving just a few last mommy makeover prep tips to remember. Make sure these key items are off your list before the big day.

1. Pick up Prescriptions

   If you haven’t already, fill your prescriptions before the day of your procedure so you don’t have to worry about getting to the pharmacy later. Dr. Koehler will likely prescribe you pain medication to have on hand during the first stage of mommy makeover recovery.

2. Stop Eating and Drinking

   Follow Dr. Koehler’s specific guidelines for when to stop eating and drinking before your cosmetic surgery. This may include not eating or drinking — even water — the night before your mommy makeover. And you should refrain from drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand.

3. Get Plenty of Rest

   Hopefully, most of the larger to-dos before your mommy makeover like grocery shopping, meal prep, and planning for childcare are already checked off your list. So now all that’s left to do is kick back, relax, and get a good night’s rest before the big day. Try not to stress — you’ve done the prep work, and now it’s about to pay off!
