What Causes Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks develop when your skin rapidly stretches or shrinks, causing the collagen and elastin fibers that give your skin its structure and elasticity to break down. Stretch marks can range in color from red or purple, usually when they first form, to silver or white as they mature.

Stretch Mark Treatment Results: What to Expect

These treatments are spaced 2 to 6 weeks apart and results will compound after each one – so you will see fewer and fewer signs of stretch marks with each appointment.
