1. Capsular Contracture

   Capsular contracture happens when the scar tissue that normally develops around the implant becomes excessive and overly hard.

   Symmastia occurs when the breast implants move too close together due to an incorrect breast pocket size or placement, and is evidenced by breasts that touch in the middle or skin that tents over the breastbone.

   To correct symmastia, revision surgery can restore implants to a natural position and add internal sutures for long-lasting results.

3. Asymmetry

   Breast asymmetry can either be caused by a size difference in the breasts unaccounted for by the initial breast augmentation, or a placement difference where one implant is noticeably higher or more off-center than the other.
