Low, moderate, high, or something in between. Which of the breast implant profile options is right for you? Did you even know there was a choice?
The appearance of your new breasts will be determined by a number of factors, including the size you choose and the profile and projection you opt for. As breast augmentation is a very personal thing, there’s no definitive correct option; it mainly comes down to the look you want to achieve.
Low Profile
As the name suggests, low profile breast implants have the least projection and the widest base. Low profile implants may be suggested for slight women with smaller breasts.
Moderate/Moderate Plus Profile
Compared to low breast implant profile options, moderate ones have more projection and a slightly narrower base. Moderate plus extends these changes a little further. This may be the most suitable option for natural-looking breast augmentation on a wider chest. Moderate profile implants are among the most popular.
Generally, high profile breast implants will result in rounder breasts, while others can deliver a more natural appearance.
High/Ultra High Profile
For maximum projection, high or ultra-high is the way to go. Breast implants falling into these categories will be fuller than those in the low or moderate ranges and will tend to be rounder. As such, high profile breast implants are most suited to those seeking a dramatic look.
Choosing Between Breast Implant Profile Options
As mentioned earlier, there is no hard and fast rule when it comes to choosing between breast implant profile options. Some of the factors which you may wish to take into consideration include your natural shape, the size of your frame and how you want your new breasts to look.
